- Kapa'a hotels evacuated guests ahead of the storm; the East Side avoided the worst of the structural damage.
- Around 90% of Kaua'i lost power and prolonged outages are expected island-wide.
- A brown-water advisory is in effect and Ocean Safety advises no swimming or ocean activity until further notice.

The 2 Bedroom Suite accommodates up to 6 guests and features a queen bed, two twin beds, and a double sleeper sofa. The suite includes two bathrooms, a full kitchen, comfortable living and dining space, a balcony or patio, and an in-suite washer and dryer. The official WorldMark suite details also note a loft and stairs, making it important to keep in mind that this accommodation is not a single-level layout.

Spend the day discovering Wailua Falls, kayaking the Wailua River, hiking through Kauai's tropical landscapes, snorkeling, or exploring the island's incredible beaches. - Due to the shortage of car rentals and rideshare transportation, travelers to Hawaii are strongly urged to secure a rental car at the time of booking.
- The resort will undergo exterior renovations May 1, 2026 - Oct.15, 2026. During this time, noise, dust, odors, and work crews may be experienced. Dates are subject to change.
- Wi-Fi is available for an additional daily charge. Please contact the front desk for current pricing and assistance with activation.
- No air conditioning
- No elevators
- Front desk hours are 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
- If you plan to arrive at the resort outside of normal front desk hours, please call the resort to make alternative check-in arrangements prior to arrival.
- The on-site beach is not suitable for swimming. The nearest swimmable beach is five minutes from the resort.
- Parking is limited, and the resort is not able to accommodate the storage of boats, RVs, and trailers.
- Pool and hot tub hours are 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Children who are not fully potty trained must wear swim diapers. There are no lifeguards on duty. Please refer to posted pool signage for more information.
- Kapaa Shores is now a Smoke-Free Resort. No smoking is allowed on the entire property at Worldmark Kapaa Shore.
