I hate this hotel

I cannot believe the staff were not cooperative in terms of wifi because I had been staying in this hotel for 3 days, and the wifi inside my room did not work at all. I spoke to the staff members in the hotel, and they were just giving me excuses because everyone were using the wifi therefore the wifi is weak. But I want to clarify, that the wifi inside my room completely did not work at all for all 3 days which I have stayed here. I will never want to stay in this hotel again.

DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU NEED WIFI

My room was terrible. NO WIFI Connection AT ALL!! Partially because my room was located in a corner, but NO WIFI at all. I was trying to change a room, the front desk told me every room is same! She said all rooms share one wifi and they couldn't change a room for me because no wifi connection. She pretended nice but she didn't care about your stay. Moreover, this hotel is cheap but you can get much better choices (better quality, room, and service) at the same price level.

The plus point for Royal Hotel has to be its great location just across the road from Kaohsiung Main Station. It's really convenient to move about after exploring Taiwan by rail or Kaohsiung by MRT! Another saving grace is the warm hospitality of the staff. However if you are looking more of upmarket room decor, excellent breakfast or outstanding amenities then this is probably not for you. It's just a basic room with all the necessities of a standard business hotel, which I'm fine with for a night.
