I have reviewed this property maybe 4 or 5 times over the last 2 months and have given a 5 star rating. My last review has definitely changed. My family is new to Kansas and needed a stable hotel to be in that wouldn’t cost us a lot until our townhome was ready. During my last couple weeks I was told that in the middle of the night my family was making a lot of noise in our 2 rooms we had. The downside to this hotel is that you can hear everything that is going on above you and everyone in the hotel knows it even the staff that lives there even though a-lot of them live on the 4th floor so they don’t here the noises like everyone else. I was told that my family would be asked to leave if there was another noise complaint about us. To avoid being put out I tried to leave the hotel before that happened, was told they don’t do refunds because I booked through a third party and I would have to go through them. Cool. I reached out to Expedia to contact the hotel about giving me a refund so that I could stay somewhere else for my last week but Woodsprings never responded. We did end up staying until our last night only because I told my kids don’t be kids or we get put out. If you are going here with kids DONT. Going with your partner and you like to be intimate at night make sure you are on the 1st floor. Some of the people staying there understand how loud it is and just deal with it like me and my family and some don’t. Maybe Woodsprings should disclose how loud the floors are!!

Overall, this was a great place to stay. The staff was excellent - always polite and very helpful! The only issues we had was another guest's dog that yapped too much, and there were only 2 luggage racks for the 4-floor building. We had to make multiple trips to get everything out.

This is an extended stay property and most guests are there for long periods, so keep im mind this is more like renting a short term apartment than a typical hotel stay. No pool, breakfast, fresh towel replacement, toiletries, etc. The kitchenette is a nice option, but you have to have your own kitchenware/pans/etc, or you can rent from the front desk. Laundry facilities are nice and work well. Room was clean, bed was fine, shower is small but worked well. Walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors talking, and any conversations in the hallway. Also, the shades do not darken the room well, so if you’re trying to sleep in it may be difficult. Nice location, walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Walls are very thin.

Overall the stat was great. The room once we turned the AC down smelled musty but nothing some air fresheners couldn’t fix. It was nice to have a fridge, microwave and stovetop since we were there for 4 days.

Beds are like you are sleeping on a big cot. No amenities at all in the room. No rack for luggage to sit on. No hair dryer. Even though there is a kitchenette nothing is in it. No ice machine on site. It was clean and staff friendly but very basic.
