So far I've stayed at Origin Hotel twice this year for a total of 10 nights. I love the easy, chill, and comfy atmosphere here. The staff are friendly but not overly smothering, so that's a plus for me! The room is nice, comfortable, and I've had pretty good views from the windows! The best part about the hotel is its location in Kansas City! If you are blessed with nice weather, your experience by the river will be worth the stay!

I had the most incredible stay at Origin Kansas City! I travel a lot throughout the year, all over the country, and this was by far my favorite trip. The hotel was beautiful and the amenities were perfect... I enjoyed the modern and fun look of the hotel and rooms, but the staff were the highlight. Jay at the front desk was incredible- he was helpful and kind and made me feel so welcome. I stayed Thursday through Monday, and every day that I saw him or any other staff, they always greeted you with warm smiles and remembered things about my trip/why I was there. Any request you had, whether you asked about local recommendations, needed a little assistance with forgetting to print/cut something out, or just wanted to have a lovely conversation while relaxing, they were all accommodating. Being on the road so often, most places are forgettable in passing- but I will absolutely be back to Origin, if not just to visit with the awesome staff. Thank you Kansas City!

We’ve stayed at a number of Origins hotels, and have always loved them. This was our second time staying at the Kansas City location. Our first time was the week they opened, and we didn’t leave a review, because it was their first week and teething problems were inevitable. The constant smell of stagnant water in the entrance to room was horrible. It somehow intensified throughout the night, and it was there when we first stayed too. The daytime staff were all fabulous! But the night time concierge was quite dismissive and reluctant to help my wife. We will certainly be returning to other Origins Hotels, but sadly this will be the last time we stay at the Kansas City hotel.
