we had a great time and particularly loved the decor, music and pool. we had high expectations with it being brand new and were disappointed to find a number of things broken or out of order. the signs for parking were not clear. the staff in the morning at joe merchants was super friendly! they need more staff for the morning rush, wait times were upwards of 20 minutes for a bagel and coffee. hopefully some of the kinks will be worked out soon, one they have been operating a while longer.

Beautiful property and wonderful staff. Food options are very limited and bed is extremely firm. Left with a lot of stiffness and didn't get a lot of sleep. I didn't think it was worth the money we spent.

Tropical resort in the Midwest

Atmosphere was so fun and relaxing! Room was spacious and bathroom had a spa vibe. Very family friendly but great for couples too. Staff was so friendly! The only downside was we were in a room that could be adjoining and we could hear through it pretty good and Ididn't feel they were being overly loud just a thin door maybe. We just put on some music to drown it out and that worked fine for us. Definitely not enough to change it from 5 stars. We had so much fun. We'll be going back again for sure the next time I need a taste of the Salt life without leaving my state!
