The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had and excellent coffee in the restaurant in the late afternoon when all the coffee shops in Kangaroo Valley were closed for the day. The only complaint we had was that there was a constant noise coming from what sounded like a commercial dryer or maybe a generator and it continued late into the night. When we woke on Sunday morning it was no longer going but soon started up again. It did spoil our stay unfortunately.

Rating: 2/5 – Disappointed with the comfort, but appreciated the late checkout We booked two rooms for a winter stay expecting a comfortable experience. Unfortunately, one room had no air conditioning or heating, and despite our request, no portable heater was provided. It was extremely cold, and my boys struggled to sleep. We were given only one extra blanket for four people. The ground floor room had no view and felt especially cold. The toilet wasn't clean on arrival but was cleaned upon request. On a positive note, the hotel did offer a complimentary late checkout until 11:30am, which we appreciated. The stay could have been much better if both rooms had proper heating.
