Surprisingly good

We had quite low expectations of this, staying here on the way to Chiang Mai allowing us to visit sukhothai. The hotel surprised us though and was a clean and well kept hotel, definately worth the money. Whether we were just lucky with it being loy krathong, but the night market on the other side of the bridge was excellent. Cheapest open air 1hr massage ever, at 130baht. Would definately recommend as a stop off on the train to chiang mai, when the street market is on. BTW, a taxi to the ruins at Sukhothai was about 700baht on the meter. A round trip, with the taxi driver waiting 3Hrs to come back was 1600baht.

Loved that high standards of cleanliness and neatness were observed. Comfortable bed. We had a river view which we liked. We liked the location, convenient for a walk along the river path, close to the night bazaar, close to a topnotch restaurant, and easy walk to the train station.

Hotel has turned around from ordinary to excellent

While having diner we got hit by a severe thunderstorm and all the lights went out. Emergency lights and staff came into play. Then the fun started. All the customers had a party you wouldn't believe. Best night I've had for ages. Well done to all including the DJ Tossapon.
