This is an amazing palace, but it does not live up to either its reputation or high room tariff insofar as the Hyderabadi cuisine at their Indian restaurant. The food was not up to standard and did not have an authentic Hyderabadi taste or flavor! They need to hire a local Hyderabadi chef who knows “gharana food!” The restaurant staff are very courteous and accommodating, but again, the quality of food left much to be desired. An intern by the name of Gulnaz made our stay very special with her kind and compassionate demeanor. She’s a real asset to Falaknuma!

This is not just a hotel; it’s an experience! Initially I was quite skeptical about its value, but it was totally worth it. The staff was so helpful right from service at the restaurant (kudos to Santosh, Pydhi Babu, Ramkrishna, Nilesh, Sujata and chefs Arun and Kaushal), to housekeeping specialists. This stay has been the highlight of my trip.
