Nous pensions avoir rĆ©servĆ© une chambre, il s'agissait en fait d'un appartement avec 2 couchages pour 2 personnes, 2 salles de bain, une cuisine, salon et surtout une grande terrasse avec une superbe vue sur la vallĆ©e et la mer. Un peu difficile Ć  trouver surtout quand on arrive de nuit mais accueil trĆØs agrĆ©able. Confortable, propre et trĆØs calme. Petite piscine bien agrĆ©able pour se rafraĆ®chir. On peut prendre un repas ou un petit dĆ©jeuner chez Maria, une petite taverne juste Ć  cĆ“tĆ©. Bien situĆ© pour visiter les environs.

Das Hotel lag auf dem RĆ¼cken eines Bergkammes, inmitten eines sehr ursprĆ¼nglichen Ortes, die Fahrt zum Hotel lies uns die Kƶpfe schĆ¼tteln... positiv abenteuerlich! Sofort bestaunten wir den wundervoll Blick bis an die KĆ¼ste und die hohen Berge. Unser Zimmer (Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit KĆ¼chenbereich) war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Der Poolbereich liegt ab 16 Uhr im kĆ¼hlen Schatten und bietet nach den heissen Tagen eine schƶne AbkĆ¼hlung. Das Hotel wird gegenwƤrtig vergrĆ¶ĆŸert, die BaumaƟnahmen sind fĆ¼r den Hotelgast aber nicht spĆ¼rbar. Wir kƶnnen das Hotel jedem empfehlen, der die ursprĆ¼ngliche Lebensart Kretas sucht.

A DREAM (if you have a car)

A peaceful, quite and remote little dream Villa that is situated off the main tourist spots at the very end of a tiny mountain village. Lying right betwenn Chania and Iraklion, it is the perfect base for day trips to all the commendable places in middle and west Crete (as long as you have a car). The next beach is about 4 km away with nice sand, beach bars but not too many people. The two story Villa we stayed (No. 1) is one of 4 houses in the so called "central complex" and comprises of a huge living room with a neat little kingsize bed build into one side of the wall (with a view along the hillside down to the coast line) plus a kittchen and one bathroom (including a washing machine) on the ground floor and the master bedroom plus another fully equiped bathroom on the top floor. You can enjoy your breakfast and the view from no less than three balconies or cool down in one of the two pools right in front of your door. Although you share those pools with the other buildings it always felt like they would have been our private ones since you barely saw anybody else around. You absolutely can trust the pictures here to get a feeling how it looks like. It IS exactly like shown in the pictures and even better in real life. Especially it has the exact feeling you want from an original mediteranean house but with a level of cleanliness and comfort you would probably not expect in the hills of Crete.
