What I did like is that our unit is at the beach front and just a few meters away from park and playground. The name Kalbarri beach resort is hardly recognisable as it is located at the side entrance and small.

Excellent location - right next to beaches, shops, fuel station, IGA and restaurants - everything within walking distance Resort itself is family friendly and great for people of all ages; pool, spa, kids playground are all really good Staff availability on the reception is very limited and it can be challenging if patrons wants something to be sorted within the units. The light in one of the rooms and in front of unit were not working and I had to leave a message on after-hours with no avail; then called during reception hours but by that time housekeeping team had left. Otherwise nice and tidy units and comfortable stay

Kettle didn't boil so tea & coffee luke warm. Very old & tired facilities. Pool was the coldest ever- like ice! Had 3 spas but only 1 was working for most of stay- then all 3 were out. Games room was closed, couches were disgusting- needed a deep clean visible smudges of food all over them Beds very hard and at least 30 years old. I would use the word 'resort ' very loosely. Need to heat the pool- this would make the stay sooooo much better as we could all have had fun in the pool day & night. Update the rooms would make a huge difference also. Quite expensive considering almost nothing was operational. No wifi either- which has been out for at least 6 months

Very enjoyable stay. Nice, comfortable room close to the beach and town. Kitchen was a great size with everything provided. Bathroom very spacious and plenty of room to spread out. Mattress was quite firm though this would be the only improvement to make the stay better.

The Kalbarri Beach Resort is in a great location, next to the fishing harbour and within 15 minute walking distance to the town centre The units themselves at definitely showing signs of age. and at the time we were there, the grounds were overgrown and in need of attention. Outside lighting is turned off relatively early making night time walking from units to visits friends an exercise in “watch where you step”. It is rarer to find a resort these days don’t have wifi available in the rooms. This resort is one of those rarities. That said; the rooms were clean and comfortable, the location ideal and well priced in comparison to others in town
