I anticipated a 4 star quality hotel and that is precisely what it is. Great location. Easy access to beach. Breathtaking views of Lanai and Molokai. I enjoyed the “boutique” feel as I don’t like loud and busy mega resorts. Excellent/efficient trolley service to nearby Whaler’s Village mall. Luau was mediocre. Breakfast really generic and lackluster. It resembled a supermarket buffet bar quality. Service not great. Decor is outdated but I wanted an authentic Hawaiian feel. I didn’t like the $40 overnight parking fee. Overall a good honeymoon stay.

Room service was horrible… when we checked in, they were out of body wash and refilled it after 4 hrs. Then we noticed that they were out of shampoo, hand soap and it took them days to refill even after calling multiple times. This resort also have lots of hidden charges.

The room was absolutely spectacular! We have stayed at this resort multiple times and the rooms, service and staff are second to none. We love being right on the beach and the singer every night from 6-9pm under the tree is one of our favorite things. Mad shout out to GINA! In a world where customer service is on the decline, Gina made our whole stay incredible. That saint of a woman deserves a raise and made the Royal Lahaina our resort of choice when staying in Kaanapali! Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for around 6-7 days and had paid extra and booked the complete ocean view room but when we reached, they gave us a room that was hardly partial ocean view. When we complained, they said this is the only one available but still charged us for the complete ocean view room.

The front desk was helping and respectful This hotel is simple inside but gorgeous outside Has 2 outdoor swimming pools with nice view on mountains and ocean Water refil station in lobby and by pool beside lemon water jar in lobby and outside Nice view big outdoor area for walk , play some activities Long Beach for hiking Hotel located right in front of the ocean

The room had mildew and a musty smell, and there was fees that were unexpected and I paid 900usd on top of what I had paid for the room. This needs to be told up front.
