Description:
House in stone vacancy in south-central Ardeche (Valley of the Bezorgue) and independent spacious renovated on 2 levels at the entrance of the small hamlet of Chayne (6 km before the town of Juvinas) on 3000 m2 of land bordered by the river 'The Bezorgue'; You can enjoy swimming in the summer with family and friends (just below the house), enjoy the many leisure and cultural activities offered by the villages and towns nearby, come for cures spa (at 6km) or formulas proposed by the Therme Vals les Bains (Relaxing ...), fish the cooler months. The Chayne includes about a dozen houses around (closest to 30m) 90% inhabited by friendly and eager to showcase their regional cultures Ardéchois. The house is surrounded by greenery, the mountains. Many walks are offered to you by following the tracks. In autumn you can taste the chestnuts. In winter you can visit the family skiable field the cross on Bauzon (about 45Km) .The hamlet is about 5/7 minutes from Vals les Bains, a tourist city known classification "Most beautiful detours." We recommend you to visit nearby towns and villages these few for their charm and cultural attraction; Antraigues on Volane Aubenas, Meyras, Jaujac, Thueyts, Vogue, Happy ... but also sites of great natural beauty like the waterfalls of Ray-Pic, Mont Gerbier of Reeds, the National Nature Reserve of Ardèche Gorges , the caves of Saint -Marcel and Chauvet. Many activities are available such as canoeing, rafting, caving, ropes course, booling, visit caves or museums, hiking (Aizac Volcanoes), animal park etc ... Vals les Bains is a spa town with the possibility of care in day, a beautiful shady park offers games for children (mini-golf, rides, park, swimming pool very well maintained, film and musical evenings some summer days. The shops are located in Vals les Bains, Antraygues and Aubenas (shops nearby but also crossroads, Casino, Leclerc, Lidl, lider price etc ...) .. On arrival you will receive a welcome booklet learning about the operation of the equipment in the home, but also entertainment, restaurants. We wish you every success!
Description of the house:
We rent our house since February 2014. The interior is new in a house dating back to 1830. The beds, the bedding is new.
Ground floor:
1 living / dining room of 30m2 with old wood stove and Freeview TV in the living room + possibility of adding a sofa bed 2 places (on request)
1 26m2 fully equipped kitchen (induction hob / oven / dishwasher / washing machine / microwave / fridge ...)
Upstairs:
2 bedrooms of 15m2 with closet or wardrobe each with 140 beds by 190 + possibility of adding an extra single bed on request.
1 6m2 bathroom with shower
1 toilet
1 corridor with wardrobe

Bon séjour mais peut mieux faire
La maison est propre et saine mais nous aurions aimez plus de soins - l'escalier intérieur n'est pas stable - la literie est d'une autre époque - les volets sont à revoir - le jardin n'est pas entrenu - le mobilier de jardin est à revoir - il est impossible de rentrer sa voiture sauf si on a une garde au sol de 4x4 - à notre arrivée on nous précise que l'accès a la rivière est restreint et que celui ci se fait à partir d'un autre terrain. A priori des soucis avec les voisins qui se sont accaparés les lieux et les bons spots - en autres les TV ne sont pas fonctionnelles dans toutes les chambres car du matériel a été volé. Bref il a y quand meme pas mal de points négatifs mais aussi quelques positifs. 😀 La communication avec la propriétaire est top et nous sommes pas moins de vals les bains. On a connu mieux sans pour autant que cela soit une catastrophe non plus. Nous avons passé un bon sejour mais cela n'est pas aux niveaux des prestations générales attendues.

Très bon séjour
Maison très agréable et joliement décorée. Au calme et bien cloturée pour les animaux ou enfants. Merci à Nadège (l'hote) pour sa bienveillance envers les locataires et avec qui il est facile et agréable d'échanger sur le séjour et merci à Karine qui nous à remis les clefs pour sa gentillesse. L'Ardèche est une jolie région avec de jolis villages à visiter et des ardéchois très acueillants.

Thank you very much, we had a great vacation in a home away from home. The river is very refreshing and perfect for a dip after a walk on one of the great walks around the house. The house itself was perfect for the needs of our family and the communication with the owner and Karen was very good and helpful. We can clearly recommend this house. Maison en "Ardèche secrète"
Très bonne impression générale : belle région avec de nombreux villages à visiter ; maison bien équipée, fonctionnelle et intérieur joliment décoré. Nous y avons passé de bonnes vacances ! Simple précision : la maison n'est pas directement en bord de rivière, mais le pré qui fait partie de la propriété descend jusqu'à la rivière.

Haus mit allem was man braucht mit tollem Grundstück
Es handelt sich um ein älteres Haus das innen top eingerichtet ist, alles drin und alles dran was man im Urlaub so braucht. Parken kann man bequem an der Strasse. Das Grundstück grenzt an eine sehr schöne Badestelle der Besorgues. Die Terrasse vorne heraus ist Hundesicher eingezäunt. Sie liegt unterhalb der Strasse aber der Verkehr hält sich in Grenzen. Was man wissen sollte ist vielleicht dass es mit dem Spazierengehen direkt ab Haus nicht so einfach ist - alles Chemin Privé, Défense d'entrer... aber mit dem Auto kann man sehr gut schöne Touren in der Umgebung erreichen. Ich hatte mein Rad (Pedelec) dabei und das war ideal. In der Umgebung gab es mehr als genügend interessante Ziele für 3 Wochen. Es gibt einen Schuppen, wo man Räder unterstellen kann.

Découvrir Vals sur Volane et ses environs
Maison de caractère rénovée, confortable et bien équipée. Située au hameau "Le Chayne" (Juvinas). Cependant, même si la maison est isolée du voisinage par un grand terrain, la partie utile de ce dernier est petite car en forte pente et/ou en majorité en friche. Il reste environ 100 m² de terrasse. Néanmoins, l'accès à la rivière est très appréciable. Pas de possibilité de parking pratique pour décharger sauf si vous possédez un 4x4. Attention ne convient pas aux jeunes enfants car le terrain n'est pas clôturé et proximité d'une route passante (D243) qui parfois est gênante lorsque l'on recherche de la tranquillité sur la terrasse. La réception internet y est difficile! Sinon, c'est un bon point de départ pour découvrir la vallée de la Besorges et sa région.

great house at an idyllic river
We enjoyed our stay in this detached house in a small hamlet on a beautiful river where you can swim, sunbathe and picnic. The house is furnished in a modern and comfortable way. Washing machine, dishwasher, oven, everything is there. We arrived in the evening and then it was hard to find the house. We also only found out when we started to study the details that a high deposit (in cash) is requested and that no linen can be rented. So as far as we are concerned, we make a recommendation that a credit card deposit can be paid and that linen is rented. A description of the route to the cottage is also recommended. Furthermore, nothing but compliments and highly recommended!
