Guests soak up modern day luxuries while returning to a simpler time by enjoying rocking chairs or a swing on a front porch, while planning the next days' adventure. Visit Mayberry, Stone Mountain, Pilot Knob, or even the filming sight of The Longest Ride. Other attractions include numerous wineries and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Many antique stores are available for "treasure seekers" in nearby Elkin, Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, and Fairview.

Country cabin

Very nice, clean, cozy vacation property. Spent our honeymoon there and couldn’t have asked for quieter, more relaxed setting. Loved having coffee on the front porch swing of mornings. Highly recommend!

The place was so clean and well maintained! It was a bit isolated with no deadbolt and three outside doors. My husband and I had a few frights from some old items like a wedding dress in the closet, but overall it was lovely.

Come prepared to be “rural” (remote), and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay! Trust the directions to the cabin and you will be glad to escape the busy pace of modern life. Fire flies and hot tub were a highlight!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and it was peaceful. There were two reasons we scored it down. The views were a wall beside a cow pasture and woods. The location of the cabin was on a working farm. The farm also had two lagoons.

Home away from home

Cabin was wonderful. It was peaceful and private. Nice get away from the hustle of everyday life. It was clean and had everything that you would need (love the decor). The host Shera is very nice and responds quickly. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.
