Good for a one night stay

We left early … the hotel is in shambles. The best thing about it was no bugs, cold ac, and good location. When we walked in the room smelled like curry and there was mystery splatter on the entry way wall. The family suite had a kitchenette with plates, cups and cooking utensils but no cooktop or dishwashing soap. There was a microwave and a mini fridge. The pool is out of order and doesn’t look like it will be ready anytime soon. The paint was peeling in the shower and there was mold. Carpet and couch were filthy. Overall felt dirty being in that room and decided to leave the evening before checkout. Oh and there was no toilet roll holder… just a bunch of little things that add Up and you wouldn’t expect to have to deal With while on vacation.

This is a very simple but elegant hotel. Very quiet despite how many guests are staying here. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We definitely stay here again.!!

We booked this hotel because of the proximity to Silver Beach and the pleasant pictures listed online. The general cleanliness of the hotel and rooms were atrocious. The overall condition of our hotel room was equally as poor. The carpeting throughout the hotel and in our hotel room was completely filthy, with horrid stains in the bedrooms. The restrooms were poorly cleaned: we found hair and dirt in the showers, the shower doors were dirty, one of the bathroom doors was coming off of the hinges and was difficult to close. While showering one of the heavy glass shower doors came completely off of the track and fell onto me. We also found ants in and around one of the beds. Also, my allergies were on full blast due to the buildup of dust over the headboard where we slept. In addition, my children were very disappointed to find that the pool was closed in disrepair and being used for storage. Needless to say we did not eat the continental breakfast. I rate this hotel a one out of five. The only reason I give it a one is because the staff were very apologetic and assured reimbursement through my hotel booking site.

Old tooth paste spit in sink upon check in. Bed was vary firm LIKE SLEEPING ON SHEET OF PLY WOOD! Not worth the money should have drove home after the concert.

At a glance seemed clean but then noticed sand in shower, hair on toilet, food crumbs under & behind furniture (especially pull-out couch bed), broken bathroom door (took 2 hands to noisily open & close, due to hinge). Also, no shelf or rack in shower for supplies.

Hotel pictures are deceiving. You can easily tell they are cutting corners as they renovate. There was no AC in the halls or elevators, very dense the moment you step out of your room. I’ve never stayed in a room that didn’t have a mirror above the desk or outside of the bathroom, making it difficult for 2 woman to get ready at the same time. For as much as you pay for a room here they should definitely do better or lower their prices. It’s near water but not right on the water. There are bay views but very restricted. I feel with there being minimal places to stay in the area this hotel takes advantage of that. As well as the pool being closed for the lengthy time that it is the prices should be lower for that reason as well.

I have been staying at Silver Beach for over 10 years. It has had its ups and downs. It seems to be on an upswing now. Lots of improvements being made! Would love to see breakfast waffles brought back and the pool reopened.

Fast elevators. Nice fast efficent check in. New tole flooring. Could be better You can hear everything from hallway to inside rooms. Doors have space under them. Old carpeting in hallway and warm hallway. Floors and bedspread little sandy-- Difficult being next to beach.
