Great stay, the hotel is perfectly located between Central Jo'Burg and downtown. Staff were very friendly. Food was great, nice big portions. Communication regarding airport transfers could be improved. There was a confusion as to whether the hotel had shuttle transfer or not. Ended up getting an Uber.

Fantastic hotel option in Joburg

I travelled with my family to Johannesburg in July 2023. We had a wonderful experience during our stay at the Holiday Inn Johannesburg Sunnyside. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location was conveniently situated for tour pickups and in a safe area, making it easy for us to explore the city. Moreover, we thoroughly enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant; the food was absolutely delicious. We had the buffet for breakfast and dinner, but a la carte options were also available. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a pleasant and satisfying stay.
