You’ll find a charming cottage with a truly special garden that offers countless hiding spots and cozy nooks. The garden is romantic and lush, featuring pergolas, flowers, and hidden corners—perfect for play and exploration. The large terrace wraps around the entire house, allowing you to follow the sun from morning to night.



Inside, a personal and inviting atmosphere has been created with beautiful natural light, a large velvet sofa, and comfortable chairs by the wood-burning stove. The open kitchen connects to a spacious sunroom with sliding glass doors that open onto the garden. There’s plenty of room for several couples or friends to gather together, while still offering the option to retreat.



The garden is completely secluded and private, featuring a trampoline, a fire pit, and toys in the shed. Cherry and apple trees provide fresh fruit, and at the back lies a small vineyard. The varied grounds are among the most spectacular in the area—both children and adults will love exploring the many nooks and crannies.



Kulhuse Harbor is nearby with its child-friendly sandy beach, perfect for kayaking and surfing. During the summer months, the Columbus ferry sails to Sølager in just 8 minutes. Nordskoven invites you to take long walks, and you can visit Jægerspris Castle or enjoy an ice cream at the town’s legendary ice cream stand. Public transportation makes it easy to get here from Copenhagen in about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

We stayed for 2 weeks with a family and two kids a...

We stayed for 2 weeks with a family and two kids at this wonderful place. We had 2 cats that were very welcome and felt at home right from the start. There‘s a huge garden, very charming with lots of details and things to discover. You can actually play hide and seek there. The sea is a 7 minute footwalk, Kopenhagen is a 1Hour drive, Roskilde and Frederiksborg (which are both highly recommanded) around 40-45 minutesy the next Supermarket is a 3 minute drive, a slightly larger one 9 minutes (but the smaller one is big enough for most of what you need). The house itself is large but cosy with enough space, clean and nice furniture. The bathroom with a shower is rather small but clean. The kitchen is complete but no freezer and also very clean. Wifi is fast. There‘s no TV (as announced). Don‘t expect everything to be new and perfect but it was all charming and clean with a nice personal touch everywhere. We can only recommend the place! Communication was easy and helpful. Thank you, Nana!
