This place is amazing. Please note, as indicated in the listing, that this is a privately owned apartment (it's also listed on the major apartment sharing website that comes immediately to mind), so there is no front desk and check-in is a little complicated, and once you're in the place you're pretty much on your own (including cleaning).
But if that doesn't scare you away, this place is gorgeous and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back. For the price, you get a huge two-bedroom apartment (could easily be converted into three) with three bathrooms (although in fairness one is effectively in a utility closet so you won't be using it). Plenty of room to sleep 5 people, and a full-size kitchen with everything you need (microwave, stove, oven, sink, fridge, dishes). And don't underestimate the value of having a washing machine in the unit. I totally want to buy a place just like this, but until I do, this is where I'll stay whenever I come to Jakarta.
The building has a pool and fitness center and is quite secure. It is literally next door to my favorite mall in Jakarta, in the sense that it would be faster to take the elevator downstairs and walk to a restaurant in the mall than it would be to heat up leftovers in the microwave or oven. The mall has a variety of stores and restaurants, as well as a beautiful open air covered seating area where they have live music almost every night.
