The owner messed up the booking from the start. He said we don’t select that we had pets and he added a 75 charge, the. Somehow added another 85.12 charge. He then turned around and called my wife trying to explain his mistakes. He the. Credited us 79 so that we would pay the 75, which makes no sense at the en he paid us 4 over for his mistake. He doesn’t take into consideration legally registered pets. Issues with the condo itself: no direct beach view or access. It is very close if you are not concerned about the view. Neighbors around are messy. The bottom level has a door to go outside and the doorknob fell off, it’s very rusted. Owner stated they changed it 2-3 months ago. I had my drill so I rigged it to stay for the rest of our vacation. We walked to the beach one night while our teenager was sleeping. When we returned to the condo to enter the front door that takes a code, it would not unlock or accept the code. We called our teen 75 times. Not even joking with no help. I called Vrbo and it was “outside the owners working hours!” It was 12:30am-0200 until our teen woke an saw the messages. We also messaged the owner via Vrbo and he responded after we had made it in. The next day at noon someone ran a key to us but not the owner he was “really sick” or would have helped us. He did credit us one night which was fine but jeez what an experience when you’re in town to see family. It really hindered plans the day we waited for a key.
