Beautiful lakefront getaway! Stunning waterfront views and direct lakefront.

Large screen porch across the back of the house for enjoying the view with lounge area and dining table. Nice gentle sloping lot to the water that is great for the young and old. At the end of a slough with view down to big water makes for a nice swimming area and easy docking without boat traffic and wake. Steps into the water for easy swimming access and also a nice shallow beach area for the kids to play in the sand and water. Fire pit area and loungers at the dock. Plenty of room for parking. Bring your own boat and put in at boat ramp 5 minutes away and park your trailer at the house and boat at the dock. We also provide four adult kayaks and two kid kayaks and there are universal adult life vests but please bring correct size life vests for any kids.

There are two parking spots at the dock for your boat or a rental boat. Pontoon rentals at Harbor Pointe marina. 15 minutes by car and about 25 minutes by boat from the house.

Nearby Boat Ramps: Dare Park and Smith Mountain Landing

Only 2 minutes to the historic Smith Mountain Fire Tower and hiking trails. You can go up the restored tower for a beautiful view of the lake from the top.

Alabama Power Company that operates the lake lowers the water level by about 6ft each winter between Mid Oct - Mid March. During this time the water at the dock is too shallow to get a boat to the dock. The kayaks can still be used and the view enjoyed in the off season along with the local hiking trails.

*The pontoon boat is not for guest use. There are three exterior security cameras that view the front door, driveway, and boat house.

Great lake trip!

The property was so relaxing! We loved the dock, sand beach, and screened in porch. These amenities made it so easy to spend time outside with the kids. The property had many beach toys and we loved the outdoor shower. We slept so well! The mattress on the beds were great and we loved that the house stayed cool on a really humid day.

Family trip to the lake

We came to see family and do some fishing. The property was absolutely perfect. The large screened in porch was wonderful for dinners and the fire pit was perfect for sā€™mores. The house had all the essentials we could have asked for. The property manager was extremely responsive even late at night. We would definitely rent this house again!

Spring Break

Auburn Football Weekend

This was the perfect place for my three brothers and me to stay for our annual Auburn game weekend reunion. The house was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the beautiful screened in porch. But the highlight for us was our time around the fire pit each night. Matt is also a very responsive host. We all agree we hope to stay here again next year!

Wonderful time on Lake Martin

We loved our fall vacation in this beautiful home on Lake Martin. The home was perfectly set up -- the kitchen was had everything we needed for our big family, and the beds were super comfortable. The kids had a great time playing with kayaks, swimming, and swinging in the hammock. The back porch facing the lake is so beautiful and relaxing. We hiked the Smith Mountain trail to the fire tower and loved the climb -- great short hike with young children. Another highlight was toasting marshmallows over the campfire and stargazing late at night. We saw the Mike Way from the dock next to the boat. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Auburn getaway weekend

This location and home are beautiful. Most everything youā€™ll need is included. Weather was gorgeous so we took advantage of kayaking by day and star-gazing around the fire pit at night. Wonderful place for families to gather!

The house was perfect!

We loved our stay at this home! It was spotless and very well stocked. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The back porch was my favorite place to be. It was so nice and perfect in the mornings for coffee. The outside space was beautiful. It was easy to dock our boat. The kids loved being able to walk into the water. It was also a great place for the kids to kayak and paddle board bc it was nice and calm. We loved it and hope to return some day!

This place is amazing! From the awesome dock space to the kayaks to the sandy beach water entry I canā€™t pick my favorite spot. Enjoyed dinner on the back porch and the kids used the outdoor shower every night. This place is extravagant. We loved it and will return!!!

Great place!

This was our favorite house! We will keep coming to this particular one! It was so cozy and clean with a beautiful outside area. The weather wasn't great however, we still went outside and sat by the water. The firepit was an added feature and we cannot wait to use it next time along with the kayaks. The rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. The open floor plan allows you to cook and entertain at the same time. It was just wonderful and comfortable. We didn't want to leave!

Perfect Lakeside Cabin

Our family had a blast at this Lake Martin cozy cabin! The cabin had a wonderful lakeside setting inside a cove and our little ones were able to play for hours right off the dock and sandy beach, it was a very peaceful and beautiful spot. The home had everything we needed, and it was clean and well decorated too. We can't wait to rent here again and to do more fishing, kayaking and local hiking!
