It was nice stay until the elevator broke down on the first of a three day visit. My husband is going through chemo, I'm disabled and we travel with our dogs, so having to go up and down the stairs, numerous times day and night, made it a very hard experience on us. We asked to be moved to a first floor room and were told that they would make note of it but they were fully booked. When checking out, we asked for a small concession for the lack of a working elevator (just a percentage, not a free night or anything drastic) and were told no. I understand the elevator breaking down is not necessarily within their control but offering a small appeasement or even to fulfill the request to move to a different floor are both very easy and perfectly reasonable customer service concessions.

Got the jacuzzi room and it was very relaxing to be able to take turns using it. A bit small for two to enjoy it together, unless they’re shorter people. I’m 6’2” and 260 lbs, so I take up almost all of the space. Anyway, the wife loved the room and was thrilled that her knee felt so much better afterwards, since she had a knee scope 4 months ago. Room was impeccably clean. I even brought a black light to scan the room for yuck and there was literally nothing anyone that looked bad.

The place was kept up very well, the rooms were clean and the staff were very nice. Only had 2 issues (freezer in the little fridge so full of frost the door wouldn't close right and the shower curtain rod was extremely loose). I brought the issues up to the staff when we checked out and they made a note of it and thanked me for filling them in. Would DEFINITELY stay again.

The bathroom did not look like the picture (no shower chair), minimum towels that were thin compared to other holiday inns, the elevator made noise and seemed unsafe and the usb chargers by the bed were kind of wonky. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was mainly some of the facilities that were not good.

Clean quiet slept well

Room and Hotel were clean. We were on 1st floor. Heard people above us stomping around during the day. Did not disturb us at night. Blackout curtains worked great as we were facing the parking lot. Temp was fine. We didn’t adjust anything temperature wise. Chlorine smell in hallway from pool but was no smell in our room. Would have preferred to be on 3rd floor but we didn’t specify so maybe they didn’t know that. There was also a bus there so maybe those people took the top floor. Very nice employees. Breakfast included. Was cheese omelets, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, sausage, juice, coffee, pancakes, cereal. Better than some Continental breakfasts at most chain hotels. Dining area was clean. Only there for 1 night. 5 min to downtown Marshall.

Nice rooms!

The hotel was nice and quiet and clean and comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable as well. Breakfast wasn’t the best experience regarding you get what you get when it gets there type of vibe. But overall the room was great!
