The lower walkout level contains a finished recreation room with flat screen/DVD, there is a large film selection.The cell signal is strong , and internet can be accessed through hot spot. At the end of the private driveway( during the month of April “Mud Season” and all wheel drive, 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended) is one the many trail heads for The White Mtn National Forest Hiking Trail System. Bald Land Trail, East Pasture Loop, Black Mtn Cabin Trail. A 5 minute ride to Jackson Village, offers some top notch restaurants and taverns all family friendly. Folks have chosen Jackson for their vacation destination since the 1800’s and for good reasons. Jackson has 2 public golf courses, swimming at Jackson Falls, excellent trout fishing -some streams are fly fishing only, horse back riding, & 30 min to Saco River for tubing, kayak, or canoe rentals. The town of North Conway is a 20 min ride- tax free shopping and plenty of taverns & restaurants . Cabin is 60 miles from the Maine Coast and 125 miles from Boston.
