I booked this hotel based on the strong reputation of the Radisson Blu brand, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. This property is in desperate need of a full renovation and does not live up to the standards I would normally associate with the chain. At best, I would rate it a 2 star experience.
The issues started with the facilities:
• The bathrooms showed clear signs of neglect, with visible mould that made them feel unhygienic.
• In the lobby, the roof was not just leaking momentarily—it appeared to be a long-standing flaw that the hotel had accepted as normal. For the four days I stayed, the problem remained, with water being collected in a plastic bucket that staff changed a couple of times. This is not what you expect from a so-called 5-star hotel.
The service and dining experience were equally underwhelming:
• Food service was extremely slow, with long waits even for simple orders.
• Some of the meals we ordered appeared to have been made from leftovers, which was both disappointing and unappetising.
• I also ordered a mojito, which turned out to be the worst I’ve ever had—poorly prepared and undrinkable.
• To make matters worse, the reception staff were not hospitable and gave the impression that guests were an inconvenience rather than a priority.
Overall, the hotel fell far below Radisson Blu’s reputation and what I would expect from a 5-star property. I would not recommend staying here
