Across the street from the Sligachan bridge, so you’re able to go take photos in early morning or night without any crowds. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and updated, and there was ample parking. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant next door was super welcoming. The only downside was there was construction going on. Would recommend staying here again!

Loved the room for a family of 4. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the updated bathroom with a tub was a huge plus. The surrounding hiking areas were amazing and easily navigated. Did not care for the breakfast/restaurant but that’s easily overlooked.

We loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were excellent as was the bathroom and shower. The morning breakfast was delicious and the staff was very prompt with service. The restaurant next door was handy for dinner with a wide variety of entrees to choose from. The location is right next to the famous bridge, so you do get a lot of tourists swarming the area, but just up the road there is a short hike to a beautiful little series of cascading falls. The hotel also sits on the road that leads to the Fairy Pools and the Talisker Distillery so getting to those spots is very easy,

The hotel is in a beautiful location, near mountain views, a quaint bridge and river. The hotel has a restaurant attached with amazing food. Breakfast was well worth it. The room itself was newly updated. It had a fan, radiator, heated towel racks, and a very comfortable bed. They had cute snacks, water, and hot cocoa in the room!

Lovely hotel with a lot of character and history. Great location for sight seeing and scenery. Rooms were nice and cosy. Bit of a squeeze for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) but we only stayed for 1 night. Breakfast to order was lovely. We ate dinner next door at the pub/ bar.

There is no doubt that staff at the hotel are excellent and super helpful. From checking to breakfast, everyone was a pleasure to deal with. We stayed in room 16 and unfortunately the corridor there smelt of damp as the bathroom. We left the windows open while we went out during the day to explore. Other than that, the decor in our room was beautiful and I would recommend stay at the hotel, and do check out the lovely roaring fire in the Bar area
