Newly listed waterfront home. Best location on the Isle of Palms. Deepwater dock

We grew up here so we know this is the best location on the Isle of Palms. It is a 5BDR / 4BA / 4,000 sq ft. house all on one level. There is plenty of room for the kids and adults to spread out and have their own space. There are hardwoods throughout the house except for the tile in the 4 bathrooms (tile), kitchen (tile), sunroom (tile) and wood deck.

We specialize in the details. For instance we provide amenities such as 4 beach chairs, beach toys, linens, kitchen condiments and seasonings, laundry detergent, shower bar soap, dishwasher detergent, kayaks, life jackets, boogie board, and so much more are included! If you had to rent / buy / or pack any of this you would spend way more than you thought. We provide it for free!

Having your own private dock allows you to fish, crab, swim, or boat right in Hamlin Creek which is just off the Intracoastal waterway. Dolphins are almost always seen in the creek. Use our kayaks and paddle boards or bring your own boat. The dockhouse gives you lots of shade and is my favorite place during a rainstorm. If it rains, enjoy the sunporch with its pool and ping pong table,

The walk to the beach is 2 short blocks and takes 5 minutes. There is a nice safe bikepath directly to the beach.

The home is equipped with 5 flat screen tvs, cable service with lots of channels, and wifi. Remember you are on an island so my recommendation is to unplug and take advantage of the deepwater dock, beach, proximity to Charleston, and rich history of the area. We have a ping pong, pool, and air hockey table on the sunroom.

Since we are local we can point you to the best restaurants, shopping, historical areas, fishing, and surfing spots, and places to rent bikes, jet skis, etc..

All bed linens, kitchen towels and bath towel sets are provided for your convenience. We include a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath and dish soaps, paper towels, etc. If you need to restock you are 1 mile from a Harris Teeter. We also provide you with 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, and a beach buggy to roll any other items to the beach. You only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels.

This is an awesome property. Close to everything. The house is huge. The pictures don’t do it justice and they have recently remodeled. It was a very quiet neighborhood too. Beautiful view and fun for a larger family or group. The host’s Dad check-in in on how our stay was going and that was very nice too. We would stay here again.

Upon check in things were dirty. Handprints and dirty windows dirty door frames dirty light switches. After check in we noticed that some of the handles on the kitchen cabinets were missing and not replaced. Condition of the furniture had paint chips and it was old. The paint job in the yellow bathroom was the worst I've ever seen in my life. However all my brothers and cousins loved the location the house the design the layout including myself and the dock. We had a great time and this house is a great location and a great place to stay I just hope the owner will update it a little bit better than what it is.

Great location, lots of parking, several options for spacious and comfortable gathering spots inside and out for family and friends, bedrooms were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms for the house size. Dock is aged but fully functional- accommodated our 27-ft center console so we were able to enjoy sitting beside the quiet waterfront as well as accessing the deep water by boat all from the backyard.

IOP vacation

We loved out stay at this beautiful IOP home. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching for dolphins. The walk to the beach is very short and easy. Great house and host.

Great home in wonderful location with outstanding views. Our family really enjoyed how spacious this property is with large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. We all spent a lot of time enjoying the game room and screened in porch, but the dock over the canal was by far our favorite!l spot! We were able to watch dolphins swim right by. The beach is a quick 5 minute walk and the center of town is less than half a mile away. The location is excellent overall. The only issue was the home did not have a gas grill, but did have charcoal grill and it could use some newer/larger life jackets for the water toys. Other than that, everything was great and it was a good value for IOP, especially considering the outstanding water access and views.

Awesome Vacation

We have stayed here numerous times over the past few years and love it! It's wheelchair accessible, which is important to us. We love to fish and crab from the dock, and just sit on the back porch enjoying the view. Clay is very responsive and helpful. We are heading back in October and already planning next summer's vacation at this lovely home.

Family Fun

The experience from check in to check out was convenient and Clay was an awesome host. The house is in a perfect location with plenty of space for our group of 10. Some took the short walk to the beach while most just enjoyed our time between the game room and dock. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of seating around large tables for family meals and entertaining. We look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful waterfront retreat

The spacious house had numerous gathering places for all 8 adults. Each couple had their own private bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The screened in porch was nice for visiting and enjoying the back yard overlooking the water. We were able to spot numerous dolphins from the porch.Very close to wonderful restaurants and grocery store. The host kept us informed about check in policies and was quick to respond to any questions. A great vacation home!

Great Creekside Retreat

Best place yet for family thanksgiving get together. We’ve done James Island, Folly, and Edisto, this is the best. Plenty of room all on one floor. Clean and pretty well equipped. Nice pier and dock on deep water creek. Caught fish but no crabs. Highly recommend.
