Welcome to Island Falls, a quiet town in Northern Maine. Come enjoy the magic of a dirt road leading to your cozy retreat nestled across the road from Pleasant Lake. This peaceful stay will have you drifting off to sleep listening to the quiet echoes of Loons and the faint laughter from the campground across the way.

There are two bedrooms, one queen and one full bed. The full bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience, as well as locally made soap to welcome you to your home away from home. Additional amenities include AC and/or heat, and an iron with ironing board.

Weather permitting, guests have use of the outdoor smokeless fire pit and there is a grill top available to the fire pit that allows for cooking over the fire. Available upon request just reach out to the host and it will be set beside the pit.

*A complementary fully stocked S'mores station is provided upon arrival with everything needed to enjoy a fireside snack.

Things to do in walking/driving distance:
This unit is within walking distance of VA JO WA Golf Course.
Access to four wheeler/ATV trails - this is a great area to recreate! If you enjoy your stay and want to return in the winter for snowmobiling please reach out for booking information.

**Important information for potential guests**

This is a completely NON smoking property. The owner and family are highly sensitive/allergic to smoke/vaping. With this comes our assurance that this property is as GREEN friendly as possible as we strive to serve those that may be sensitive to fragrances/odors etc. If there is any smoking in OR outside of the unit there will be an additional fee assessed to allow for a professional cleaning company to come sanitize the unit at the guests expense.

Owner of property resides onsite and will be available- Need additional toiletries/towels? Enjoy the locally made artisan soap and want more to purchase? Feel free to reach out and your host will be with you in a timely fashion.

Access to the apartment is via stairs on the outside of the building as it is an apartment above a garage. There is no other entry to the unit as the door leading down into the garage is locked. The owners do not go into the garage and try to stay out while guests are checked in, however, we do complete yard maintenance and there are times we may need to access the lower level.
