DO NOT STAY HERE

No front desk person, was an i-pad check-in with someone from another country on the other side and wifi not working so couldn't even finish a short conversation. I had no running shower in my room. It was dingy and gross and I did not feel comfortable staying there either. They offered nothing when I said the shower did not work. I do NOT recommend.

There was no staff at the hotel, a kiosk only. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Very run down seating outside a picnic table and old stadium type chairs. It was posted no pets allowed but there was a large dog in the room two doors down.

Weird smell

Very outdated. Lobby and hallways had a weird smell. Room had an awful smell. Couldn't tell if it was from smoking, or pets, but it was not a good smell. Bed felt like on old metal spring mattress. When the faucet and tub were turned on, the water was dark brown for the first 10-15 seconds. I would never choose to stay here again, unless it was the only vacancy for 50 miles

Look elsewhere

Nothing says indifference to customers like a check-in kiosk. That process went well, but it’s dystopian and not welcoming. My room was old, but so-so. Clean enough. My tub didn’t drain and there was no mechanism to switch from tub to shower. Parking lights were off when I arrived after dark, but came on a bit later. This place is a cynical money maker for someone, but really needs more hands on attention.

Motel is fine. Just your average motel. Virtual check in is weird. Feels very unwelcoming and leaves you wondering how it would work if there was any kind of issue, needed something or just had a question, luckily we didn’t have to find out. Also, not much of a breakfast area. Don’t remember if it advertised breakfast included or not. If not then I guess it’s just a little bonus which is fine. Just coffee, apples, yogurt and a variety of juices in original stores bottles that I would never drink cause what if someone put something in it or drank out of them or whatever. Yuck. Needs to be a dispenser machine for that. Coffee was also in a regular pot. Wouldn’t drink that either. Place is very centrally located though and right by Kwik Trip which is helpful.

The staff other than Beki was rude. You checked in on a kiosk. The toilet seat was broken. The shower rod was falling off. I was afraid to stand in parts of the tub while showering for fear I would fall through. The day we were scheduled to arrive we called to let them know we were going to pay with cash and were informed they don’t accept cash only card and if we didn’t agree to that they would sell the room out from under us. Then while we were checking in they informed us that your rate (hotels.com) was double what they would have charged for 7 days ($380 for them vs $812 your price). So to say your site is the cheapest is incorrect and should be price matched!

Meh

Room had a musty smell otherwise room was clean. No breakfast to speak of. Yogurt cups and juices. No coffee but there is coffee in your room. Also check in was remote by a person in Singapore!
To check in you press the screen and wait for a person to appear. The room key comes out of the machine. Strange but it worked.

The carpet felt like it was shampooed but had not been extracted properly. It felt weird so we wore shoes until bed. Microwave had dried ramen inside. Bathroom corners had a build up of grime. Bathroom sink had scant trickle for hot and cold. We washed hands in the shower. Bedding was clean and staff was friendly.

Book elsewhere

This is the forth worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of places around the planet. Book elsewhere. People hanging out outside drinking and smoking. Exterior doors didn’t lock. Check in process was bazaar. Everything was shabby but bedding was clean. I would not have stayed in the room solo. I would have cancelled my reservation if there had been an option to and I was not completely exhausted from driving all day.
