The host and stay were great. We only had two minor disappointments. First, when we arrived we realized the cabin is adjacent to the host’s home. It wasn’t a big deal, we just thought it was more secluded. Second, the hot tub had a high amount of chlorine and a brown waterline from the bubbles around the top seating area. Again, no big deal as it cleaned right up.Besides those two things, this is an awesome place to stay. The cabin was spotless and cozy, and the host left a detailed letter explaining how to use everything. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower and plenty of shelving that we utilized for our luggage. There is a fully stocked kitchenette with a wonderfully fast coffee maker, everything you need to cook inside, a grill outside, and a really cool two-drawer refrigerator with tons of room. The living area is super comfortable with a small dining table, two great recliners facing the bed, and a TV that swings back and forth.The deck area is where my wife and I hung out the most. They have a hot tub, a fire pit, a patio table, and a sauna that is easy to use and warms up quickly. The view is amazing, and listening to the wind through the trees while watching the awesome wildlife was incredibly relaxing. It is a true gem in the woods!
