A good choice

Room was quite warm, even with air con on, but overall really nice room. Patking appeared secure enough. Staff were awesome and friendly. Our only complaint was the double ved seemed quite a small double and the matress was really quite uncomfortable but the room overall was lovely.

We only stayed the one night as we were going to a concert in the town centre and didn't want to drive home that same night. There was plentiful free parking and it took us only a 15 minute walk to get to the town centre. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy. Our room was clean and at best I'd describe it as functional (no frills) but it suited our purpose and I'd definitely stay overnight again - the check out a11 am was a real bonus as this is an hour later than most.

Pleasant stay

Reception is in the nearby pub which is separate from the accommodation building. This could have been made clearer (there were some signs on entering the car park, however the next person to check in after me also missed those). I paid £20 for a late check out and originally this was only a 1 hour extension, however the lady on reception advised she could extend this to 2 hours on this occasion. It wasn’t clear when booking the late check out that it wasn’t buying much more time so that could be improved. My room was very spacious and clean, and it had everything I needed (kettle, hairdryer, plenty of hanging space for clothes, decent air conditioning). It was on the road side of the hotel, and there was some road noise but it didn’t affect my sleep. The walls were thin and I could hear people moving around in the adjoining rooms and rooms above, but again this wasn’t extreme. I would consider staying here again.
