Always have good experience with Holiday Inn Express, but first time at Bedford location.
First of all, location is excellent. Around the area has plenty of gas stations options, close to Tim's and pizza place, very close to the highway, within short distance drive will get you to Bayer's Lake with all the shops and restaurants. Hotel has very nice rooms.
The down side, a couple of staff members were rude. First, at the front desk. Didn't get a welcoming greeting while checking in. Wasn't too friendly neither. And then during breakfast was a bit surprising, because the food area is in a very cramped room. Most hotel would have an open area. Not only would make it hard when there are a lot of people, but also hard for staff to refill food and supplies. That's also where I encountered another staff who was being rude. While she was bringing out the food, I kept hearing an unfriendly tone saying "Excuse me! This is hot!" I understand it is hard to bring the food in while it's crowded and it can be difficult. Also, it is not the people's fault since the breakfast room is extremely small.
Would still give Holiday Inn Express another try, just surprised that this time wasn't a smooth stay.
