I struggle leaving reviews but felt this was needed:This vacation rental has a lot of potential because the location is excellent. It's right in the heart of downtown in a beautiful historic building, with several great restaurants and attractions within walking distance.Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The floors had not been vacuumed when we arrived, and the silverware, dishes, and glasses didn't appear clean, so I ended up washing everything before using it. I even lined the cabinets with paper towels so I knew the items I had washed would stay clean.The curtains in the unit were broken, so we had to hang sheets over the windows for privacy. The garbage disposal also didn't work, which caused the sink to back up whenever the dishwasher ran.Access to the unit required taking two elevators and then the stairs, which wasn't very convenient. If you're staying in the upstairs bedroom, be aware that it gets very hot and is quite noisy because the HVAC units are located just outside the windows.Overall, the location is the biggest selling point, but the property would benefit from better cleaning and attention to maintenance before I would consider staying there again.

Amazing location and walkable to the convention center. The apartment is comfortable and as advertised. The check-in process and instructions were poor however. This unit is in a secure building with a code - which wasn't provided at first. Then up two different elevators, and down a long hallway with stairs. The bad part was that the check-in instructions brings you to a parking garage in an alley that requiers a key fob that's in the unit itself and the building is on a busy street. Upon arriving and driving around for a while trying to get into the garage I tried to contact the host and didn't hear back for about an hour at which point I had to illegally park and run upstairs which took about 10 minutes to retreive the fob so I could park. The also didn't tell me that you need the fob to leave the garage so I tried to exit the parking area and had to run back up to the room, retreive the fob again, then exit the lot just to enter the building again, and repeat the process.
