Newly updated with a full suite of high-end, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, the kitchen is sure to delight any home chef. When it's time to eat, share home-cooked meals around the table for eight.

AWFUL stay

We booked this home for a Mother’s Day weekend getaway and were extremely disappointed — this was, by far, the worst vacation rental experience we’ve ever had.The home was absolutely filthy. The floors were beyond dirty, everything was covered in dust (including large dust bunnies), and the counters were grimy. The couch was stained and had dirty throw pillows, and the sliding door blinds were broken, making it very annoying to access the outdoor space. While the living room has large windows, they were so filthy we could barely see outside — and one of the blinds was also broken.The toilet paper was the cheapest possible quality, and more seriously, our toddler fell through a floor vent because the covers were flimsy and barely resting on the openings — a serious safety hazard.The listing advertised beautiful outdoor furniture, but there was none at the home, so we had to go to the store and purchase camping chairs just to sit outside. The kitchen lacked even the most basic essentials like cooking oil and spices; most of the cabinets were locked up.We were so disgusted by the lack of cleanliness that we didn’t even feel comfortable sleeping in the beds — instead, we slept on top of the bedding and used our own blankets.We’ve rented over 15 homes in Tahoe over the years, and this was by far the worst experience. After arriving, we looked through the guestbook and found several similar complaints from previous guests, all describing equally disappointing stays.

Wonderful location

This home had a lot of good, especially the location. You even were able to see Lake Tahoe from the master shower. It had a lot of potential, but the owners could use a little help organizing. The hot tub was not useable as it had not been upkept, it had mold floating and smelled of mildew. The Vacasa property team offered to come and check it out, but that is not what I want to have to tend to on vacation. There were also rope locks on cabinets in the kitchen, limiting your use and allowing very limited number of dishes. This also wasn’t very inviting when staying somewhere. Overall, was a nice place. A few tweaks and it would be perfect.

Lovely!

We spent Thanksgiving Week here and it was perfect! The house is in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful filtered lake views. I was also so impressed by the heated walkway to the hot tub. What a treat! The kitchen is well stocked with almost everything we needed, even for making a big Thanksgiving Dinner. (I was glad I brought my big roasting pan, some casserole dishes and serving pieces; only thing really missing was cookie sheets and platters.) I really appreciated the quality of items in the kitchen, especially since so many rentals are full of what seems like hand me down gear. The furnishings and beds were super comfortable and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back.

Comfortable stay

This home was very comfortable with a big luxurious living room that could accommodate a big group I suspect. Enjoyed the layout of the home. There is no real view of the lake from the home…though it does not claim to have one. Dishes were sparse so I’d suggest asking if you need certain things. Additionally…bring your own coffee and/or nespresso pods as they do not offer them. We would definitely come back. Thank you.
