Attractions and Hotels Near Imi-ri

The larger North Jeolla region is definitely well worth exploring too. North Jeolla boasts coastal plains, forests, rivers and lakes, along with commonly visited North Jeolla tourist sights like the old towns and fortresses. Fun-loving types might also try snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing.

If you want to experience some nearby cities, consider Sangajung and Uail-dong. Journey 60 kilometres to the west of Imi-ri and you'll find Sangajung. It was extremely dirty everywhere except for the room which was ok. Barely adequate. The bar/kitchen area looked completely abandoned as though some disaster had hit the place and everyone had run away. The basement area, where we eventually found out we had to make breakfast with mouldy bread was disgusting. There was a large dead cockroach in the sink and the walls were crumbling. We’re not fussy people but this was really bad and we left after one night. The only communication we had was through Instagram with the manager. Not a common thing for people in their 60’s. The photos are from many years ago and the promises in the text are just not available. In summary, one to avoid..
