UNFIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION!!

Please believe all the reviewers who say there is NO HEAT! The room was cold when we entered and the owner said, "Give it ten minutes." What a lie!! We froze all night and couldn't sleep. We piled towels and jackets onto the bed and still couldn't sleep. We moved the bed over to the meager heat coming from the broken radiator and still couldn't sleep. They should not be allowed to rent out rooms with no heat!! EXCEEDINGLY UNCOMFORTABLE and would NEVER come here again!!!

Grand chateau but cold room

Delightful old chateau in need of modernisation inside. Location great for me. Reception worked but did not inspire confidence. Room heating and plumbing poor. It was cold when I arrived and took hours to warm up. Breakfast sufficient but not inspiring. Restaurant closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Room barely furnished but comfortable nonetheless. But this hotel has a budget price and you get what you pay for. I would stay again but not in cold weather.

An old Chateau, more of the authentic style rather than the spruced up luxury hotel style. An old building that needs some work. An impressive entrance down a treed driveway. Plenty of parking. Rudimentary reception. Very large room with various furnishings. Super comfortable King size bed! A huge bathroom, but with basic facilities. A hand held shower in a bath tub, without a screen makes it hard to remain sophisticated! A basic breakfast was enough to start the day. If you are a bit adventurous and don't want the same bland modern beige hotel room every night, sometimes an experience like this gives you something to remember.

Would stay here possibly if I was working locally

Very impressive looking building without nicely appointed room. Pay attention to the 'notify the hotel of your arrival time'. Reception closes at 10pm - got told off for arriving at 11.30 after getting stuck in traffic. The telephone number didn't work to call the hotel. Eventually the guardian gave in and came round to let me in grudgingly. The shower had two settings (room10) scalding or chilled with nothing between. Spent 15 minutes trying to get a comfortable temperature and gave up in the end. Breakfast a self service, cold buffet, unattended, left in a room on the ground floor. But on the plus side the cost was economical and one can't expect premiere quality / service!

Réservation d’une chambre double avec un grand lit bien noté sur la confirmation et à l’arrivée deux lits simples. Cela m’était déjà arrivé lors d’une réservation d’une chambre classique pour laquelle il était bien noté, deux lits simples ou un lit double ce qui, dans ce cas était clair. Cette fois, j’ai donc réservé une chambre supérieure pour assurer le fait d’avoir un grand lit, mais encore raté… Personne à la réception pour demander un changement. Fuite d’eau sous la baignoire qui inonde la salle de bain pendant la douche, j’ai dû éponger pour éviter que l’eau ne s’infiltre partout. Je n’ai vu personne à mon départ le lendemain matin pour pouvoir exposer les problèmes. Petit déjeuner moyen Si d’autres établissements sont dispos dans la région, je passerai mon chemin
