The hotel itself is lovely, every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome — from Lee greeting me at the front desk to Tara and another woman whose name I didn’t get giving me advice on parks to which I could take my dog. They have complementary breakfast, a popcorn, machine, and cookies at night. Oh, and the room was spacious with a bathtub! And if it matters to you, as part of the same parking lot, there is a Planet Fitness and Perkins. I have stayed here before and I will stay here every time I visit Altoona.

The front desk staff were fantastic. Love that it was pet friendly but the rooms didn’t smell like animals had been there. Breakfast was good. Good hotel for a short stay. I liked that they had popcorn in the lobby. That was a fun touch.
