The good -
Front desk staffs were great. Polite. Willing to help immediately.
The bad -
1. Room smelled cigarettes smoking so bad when checked in.
2. Room facing the river are not sound insulated. Music and noise from the bar were terrible at night until 1AM.
3. Bell staffs tried to hook us up with cyclos standing in front. I haven't experienced this with other hotels. Other hotel staffs always asked if we needed taxi, never with other means of transportation.
4. Room furniture is dated.
5. Hotel has no AC in lobby, hallway and elevator.
6. Hotel does not enforce their no smoking rule. Its customers smoke anywhere, any time. It stinks in the hallway, lobby, elevator...
7. Breakfast area is chaotic. If sit outside, one can't get back in if the door is closed. No way to open from outside.
Suggestion -
Enforce smoking rule due to respect for other customers. Hotel needs to kick its customers out or impose heavy fine (via deposit) if they violated the rule. Some customers may have severe allergy with smoking.
