First apartment I was provided with was completely infested with fleas. COMPLETELY. I mean jumping on you as you walk through and as I sat on the couch. I reported the problem. Upon providing proof after having been asked to (for FLEAS, mind you), I was told they would send someone to assess the situation. After several days with no one showing, they finally provided me with a second apartment. Thankfully, my first week I had left my own pet at my place to find the area I wanted to stay in and started myself in a hotel. I was going to be here for at least a month for work.After vacating the flea infested apartment, I was promised my things would be returned to me. I kept following up on my things. All I would ever receive was: I'll look into that and report back as soon as I hear something. Next week, same response, following week: shocker-same response. My things were never returned to me. The apartment had only been vaccuumed and counters wiped down. The couch and drawers had food and trash left behind in them amd under most things. It was gross. I sent them pictures of how awful the cleaning crew had done.I will say that the second apartment thankfully was much cleaner than the first was, plus it had no fleas.
