I’m writing to share concerns about our recent stay and to request consideration for a partial refund.Upon arrival, the home was not ready at check-in. While we eventually received the house access code, the gate code was not provided ahead of time. The cleaner had left the door open, which allowed us to enter initially, and a neighbor later assisted us with the gate code. This important information should have been communicated prior to arrival to avoid confusion and inconvenience.The first thing we noticed when arriving at the home was that two trash barrels in the yard were still completely full of trash from the previous guests. This created an unappealing first impression and made it seem as though the property had not been fully prepared for new arrivals.We also experienced issues with the hot water in the shower, which barely worked and made it difficult to comfortably use the bathroom during our stay. Additionally, the bathroom door in the master bedroom does not function properly. It frequently jams and comes off its track, making it difficult to open and close and raising safety and maintenance concerns.In the kitchen, there were no dish rags provided, which made it difficult to properly clean dishes during our stay.Lastly, the surrounding neighborhood environment created an uneasy feeling upon arrival due to loud music and groups of people outside.
