We chose this motel based on strong reviews as a convenient stopover between Adelaide and Melbourne, and it delivered exactly what we needed. After a long drive, it was a relief to arrive at a clean, comfortable room with hot water, fresh sheets, and a secure lock. There was a bit of initial confusion with Wotif not passing on my phone number, but we were still able to easily locate our key after hours and settle in without any real issues. Despite being near the main road, the property is set back enough that traffic noise was minimal. The beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets were a thoughtful touch on a cooler night. The only downside was some noise from neighbouring rooms and upstairs foot traffic. Aside from that, it was a very comfortable and much appreciated stop on our journey.

I highly recommend staying with Des & Mandy. Firstly, they provided comprehensive A/H instructions to access our room. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. I love that they use Australian toiletries in fixed dispensers minimising waste and excess plastic use. When approached about us having left behind some items, they were more than willing to assist us in organising return of the items. Good old fashioned personal service was very much welcomed.

Quiet upstairs room. Check-in all done via text messages and clear instructions. Early checkout drop key in box as explained in text messages. Room good , clean and tidy. Only comment I would make is the instructions re the light switches and ‘master switch’ by bed no indication which one of 5 it was.
