The open plan ground floor is the perfect space for entertaining and getting together with family and friends. Feel the warmth of the underfloor heating coming through the oak flooring of the ground floor as you put your feet up and flick on your favourite film on the flat screen TV and DVD player, or connect to the free WiFi to stay in contact with work, family and friends.
Light up the fire with our complimentary basket of logs, from mid September - mid April The utility room provides an additional toilet, wash basin and perfect space to house all of your muddy boots and coats after a long days walk.
Preparing a feast for all is not a problem in Shippon's immaculate well equipped kitchen with oak cabinets, granite worktops, Belfast sink, double range oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and all the other essential kitchen items.
Wine and dine under the old oak beams as the wood burner crackles at the extendable dining table for up to 10/12, perfect for accommodating friends and family staying in the other accommodations over for an evening meal.All of Shippon's bedrooms are fitted with deep mattresses and cosy cotton sheets ready to sink into after a long day.

Cozy Christmas Cottage
We had a wonderful Christmas break at Shippon Cottage. The cottage was so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home straight away. The cottage had everything that we needed for celebrating Christmas away with our family and is so well situated with lots of lovely walks and little villages close by. Penny was a great host and helped us promptly with any issues or queries we had, both during the booking process and while we were away.
