The room was spacious, warm, and ideal for 2 people. All the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the local area. Food breakfast excellent choice, evening - good choice available throughout the menu.

The breakfast and dinner menu were extensive, with vegan and vegetarian choices too! The staff were the most welcoming we have experienced. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The Rambler Inn is ideally located for Edale and the peaks.

​5/5 Stars: A Hiker’s Dream! We had a fantastic stay at The Rambler Inn, where the hospitality is as warm as the rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. We loved the unique touch of rooms being named after local trails! After a long day, the powerful hot shower and cozy, toasty room were exactly what we needed. The food was a major highlight: for dinner, I had a delicious steak and ale pie with chunky chips and veggies, while my partner enjoyed the haddock and chips. Breakfast was equally impressive, featuring a proper traditional English with a great Cumberland sausage and eggs cooked to perfection, plus a lovely Eggs Benedict. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!
