Bathroom flooded, they said we would get moved to another room that never happened, they said they fixed the shower but you had to keep the shower on low water force so it wouldn’t flood again. I love Honfleur but would never stay at that hotel again.

St Malo is a victim of its own popularity insomuch unless you pick your time, parking can be very very frustrating! The hotel was very nice; clean room, friendly helpful staff and ideally located inside the walls making easy access to bars and eateries.

We loved the quaint hotel - but being up on the fourth floor with no lift made it a less than perfect stay. Nothing you can do about that - and we could have requested a different room - but we're still healthy enough to make the climb, it was just less-than-ideal. The staff were wonderful - and the location in Honfleur was lovely - just a really neat experience. The room itself was fine and very clean - no issues there at all. The access and parking situation in May of 2026 was a bit difficult - due to construction activities we did end up parking a few blocks away and having to move suitcases that way on foot - not sure there is anything you can do about that, but again, made it a less-than-perfect stay. We would absolutely recommend the place to friends - but warn them on the two issues of stairs and parking.

We had two rooms. One of the rooms wasn’t configured the way we initially asked so they re adjusted which was nice. The rooms were very hot and our adult children room had no airflow or cooler. We asked for fan very early in day as we arrived well before check in time. We kept asking and they said they would find one but they told us at midnight they gave the last one away. We had to sleep with windows wide open where. It’s flew in and out and at 2am a very large spider crawled across my daughter’s pillow. Needless to say didn’t sleep well. I shared feedback and got “sorry” - not sure I would stay there again or recommend . It’s too bad as it was a cute hotel central to village .
