We were able to check in early which I was so grateful for. However the fridge didn’t work and there was a large crack in the shower. Wr packed a cooler and chose this hotel because we wanted to cook in it, so the fridge not working was a big frustration for us. We called the front desk and they sent someone up, but it never got cold.

The property and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The rooms are very big and the kitchenette was perfect for what we needed! The hotel is conveniently located across from the grocery store and walkable just across the street. It is a quick 10 minute drive down to the Homer Spit. I would recommend to anyone visiting Homer!

Honestly for the price there’s better options than the aspen. The best western offers nicer rooms and a decent free breakfast. This place just doesn’t have anything to offer and the staff are average at best. Comparing the experience of staying at both hotels it became clear that the best western was the better value and the staff seemed to be happier with their job than the ones at the aspen.
