Schönes altehrwürdiges Hotel, zentral gelegen mit sofern neu renovierten Zimmern. Sauber, alles funktioniert - gut, dass nicht jeder mit den Farben und Teppichen einverstanden ist, das ist halt dem Geschmack geschuldet - dennoch alles sauber, ordentlich und funktioniert. Ausgiebiges Frühstück, das Abendessen ist dagegen ein Genuss und dringend zu empfehlen - Preislich, qualitativ hervorragend!!! Gerne immer jederzeit wieder. Herzlichen Dank

Ich war zusammen mit meinem Freund auf Fahrradtour an der Weser. Auf dem Weg zu unserem Hotel in Holzminden musste mein Freund in Höxter mit dem Rettungswagen ins Krankenhaus gebracht worden. Der Chef vom Hotel hat mich ganz spontan samt Fahrrädern mit seinem Tranaporter abgeholt. Diese außergewöhnliche Form der Gastfreundschaft durfte ich während des gesamten Aufenthalts erleben.

Brauche ich nicht noch einmal

Checkin eine Katastrophe => Zuerst war die Zimmer-Karte zweimal falsch programmiert. Der Aufenthalt war eigentlich schon bezahlt. Trotzdem hat man mir nochmals eine Rechnung ausgestellt und Geld von der Karte abgebucht. Erst nach mehrmaligem insistieren und längerer Prozedur (und x-maligem Weg Rezeption-Zimmer-Rezeption) wurde es dann erstattet. Dafür gab es an keiner Stelle eine Entschuldigung. Ich hatte eher das Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls unterdurchschnittlich. Eine Stunde vor Ende war die Auswahl sehr eingeschränkt und man hat mir auf Nachfrage nur "widerwillig" noch frischen Käse gebracht.
