I thought that we would have a desk/work space in our deluxe King room. That was not the case,so I ended up working on the bed. I would also love to have a recliner in the large rooms because I broke my back in several pieces. Those fractures mean that I can’t lay flat in a bed, so I typically sleep in a recliner.

The room was nice and clean and cutely decorated. I think I spotted a little bit of mold in the shower. We also didn't have hot water for showers our first morning (just warm). It was better the second morning, however. The staff was so great!! They were very friendly and helpful! We even met the owner! The breakfast is beyond any we've ever run across! They have eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal already prepared with toppings anyone would love, waffles, homemade cinnamon rolls, yogurt, milk, orange juice, coffee (too weak), I mean, it was endless!! This is, hands down, the best place to stay in Russell and on I-70!! We highly recommend it! The bed was comfortable, too!

Excellent value! We had to hit the road early so we loved that breakfast started at 5:30 AM. Good choices for breakfast and it was tasty. Beds were comfortable and it’s an older property, but things were in good repair and they have updated a number of things. The important things were clean and I would’ve given five stars but the baseboards need to be dusted. We absolutely would return.

This is a hidden gem. Older hotel but clean and the necessary modern requirements. Super friendly staff, great breakfast. Not far from the main highway. We will definitely keep this on our favorites list.

Wonderful place to stay!! Very clean, love the decor. It may be an older property, but the mgmt has worked very hard to provide a very nice Hotel. Staff is wonderful, the cleanest linens/towels ever! The free breakfast was great.
