Three hundred yards from the Gulf — a side street off Gulf Drive that keeps the crowds at a distance while the beach stays easy to reach. Peace 'n Paradise is a Holmes Beach vacation rental with a private heated pool and spa, framed by lush island landscaping with a shaded reading nook tucked into the greenery. After a beach day, the gas grill poolside and the spa handle the evening.

The beach gear setup here is the most complete in the complex. Two beach chairs, two lounge chairs, an umbrella, and a soft-side cooler — all stored in the shed and loaded into the beach cart for the walk down the street.

Two bedrooms sleep six. The master has a king bed. The second bedroom has two XL twin beds. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded mattress — a specific comfort detail worth noting for the guest who ends up there. Two full bathrooms throughout. Flat-screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. High-speed WiFi included.

The hot tub didn’t work the 1st week, had workman trying to find a leak 3Xs, we suggest written instructions for using the TV, & also locating & turning on the hot tub. Suggestion: to save your white towels, supply a black make up wash cloth.

We loved everything about it Haven’t been back to AMI for a rental after a cancelled Covid trip.Location to beach was perfect We have a pool , but always enjoy an after beach floating rest.Enjoyed walking to Freckled Fin, our first time there, since husband was born in Ireland. We loved our stay at the Peace N Paradise property this summer. It was a perfect location to the beach and the beach and pool accessories were great. The pool was perfect for cooling off after coming back from the beach. The patio area underneath the house was a perfect location to hang out while using the pool. The inside of the house is so tastefully decorated and has all the things you would need. We have stayed at many properties over the years, but this one has been our favorite!

Terrific vacation house. We’ve been to AMI many times and this is an outstanding location on the island. Comfortable beds and nice living/dining area. All is very clean and welcoming. The pool and hot tub area is truly a backyard paradise. We used the grill a few times and was great! We all thoroughly enjoyed the quick access to the beach (and the cart with the beach chairs, umbrella, etc). and backyard lounging by the pool. There is a golf cart rental around the corner as well. The property management team was responsive throughout the entire process.

This place was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The private backyard oasis was incredible and the kids loved it. The pool, putting green and outdoor family room made for plenty of activities. Kids had an outdoor movie night and even watched their favorite shows while floating around the pool. Kitchen was also well appointed and it was nice to have a quality grill…something that I feel like is typically hit or miss at rentals. If this is your first time visiting the island…as it was ours..I highly suggest renting a golf cart. We rented from Fun and More Rentals and they were great also. This house is pretty centrally located and the golf cart was able to get us to the southern and northern most points of the island in about 10 minutes. If you’re debating on this house…I’d say rent it..we’d stay again. The backyard alone is well worth it!

Even Better In Person

We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this one was of our favorites! It was extremely clean, had everything you could need & want for the beach, the beach was a 2 minute walk and the beach cart provided was a great help. The beds were very comfortable and all appliances were newer and worked great. We had 4 people i the house all over the age of 17 and there was plenty of space. The layout of the living room and dining room was a great use of space. Hands-down our favorite part of the house was the outdoor living. The pool & hot tub area were very clean, it rained once and the "living room" under the use kept us dry yet we were still outside. The putting green was a favorite for my son & husband and was used daily. There was plenty of seating or at least 10 people outside and was used every day. The location of the house is very close to the each as well as restaurants and stores. It is on more of a main road but noise was not an issue since there was not much traffic. Overall a terrific place and even better than advertised!

Innumerable small issues with the house including a leaking shower head that had to be replaced and a light in the frig that was finally replaced after our 12th day. Pool lights quit after the first week and were not repaired. The hot tub did not heat properly. Communication through the management company's third-party website was ineffective. Any message sent to the mgmt company went into a black hole with no copy for me to refer to, no way to retrieve it and no response. This house would be nice but needs attention "before" each rental. Mgmt company needs better way to communicate with renters.

Milestone Birthday Celebrations 50th, 30th and Sweet 16!!

What a wonderful location from the house to beach. The heated pool and whirlpool was AWESOME! To be able to relax and not feel crowded was amazing. The people who own theses houses on the island have a real gem. I would recommend to any and everyone. The only real problem we had was getting locked in because of screen door getting off track and stuck. We had not taken off pad lock on door down stairs (you could only get to from outside) so my daughter had to climb over fence to get to screen and push in to get it to slide. This happen a second time after it supposedly was fixed but no. No climbing over fence that time though. The outdoors sitting area..very very nice. The gas grill cooked our vegs/steak/shrimp kabobs and grilled chicken for chicken ceasar pasta salad to perfection. The wagon for the beach needs to be changed, falling apart. One more thing, my daughter felt the smart tvs should be smart and allow you to watch movies. I personally was not ready to go home. I think I could of stayed for another 8 days!

Great location, comfortable house, fun pool and hot tub

The house was excellent. It was very comfortable and just right for my family of 4. The pool and hot tub were super comfortable and the mini golf provided simple and easy entertainment. Location was great as it was a 2 minute walk to the beach and a short golf cart ride to the nothern tip of AMI for shopping, fishing and more beach relaxing. I would stay again in a moment!
