Welcome to Groovy Gecko Cottage just a few houses down from the Gulf beaches of Anna Maria Island. This cottage is a ground level half duplex with 2 bedrooms, 1 and a half baths and its own private patio with sun and shade surrounded by tropical landscaping where you can enjoy the heated pool, outdoor shower and Weber grill. You can enjoy a day at the beach with the provided beach wagon, chairs and umbrella located in the garage. Inside you will find the spacious living area with sliding doors onto the patio. The fully equipped kitchen has bar style seating for 4 and is open to the living area for easy entertaining. In the evening you can retreat to the master bedroom where you will enjoy the comfortable king size bed complete with 600 thread count prima cotton wrinkle free sheets. Linens, towels and beach towels are included in the cottage.

Great spot for a beach vacation!
Cute little rental was perfect for our family of three. It was easy to keep our infant son safe and comfortable. The rental was equipped with everything we needed and more. Loved the pool, beach access and all the beach equipment available. Thank you can’t wait to come back again soon!!

A Little Slice of Beach Heaven
The "Groovy Gecko" is located 1 block from easy beach access. Property is clean and has all the necessary amenities. Owners were quick to respond to our questions and requests. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely Perfect
The Groovy Gecko was perfect. This rental was very clean and well stocked. Mattresses were comfortable. Our absolute favorite part of this rental was the backyard oasis. We loved coming home from a day at the beach and jumping in our private pool. The rental is very close to the beach maybe a 3 minute walk. Quit neighborhood. The beach chairs, wagon, cooler and umbrella provided was great! This rental was close to everything we enjoyed. Vinny’s Italian and The Ugly Grouper are great places to eat and located not to far away. Our family will definitely be back next year! Lizzie Lu Island Retreat is highly recommended! Thanks for the great vacation stay!

The Perfect vacation
The Groovy Gecko cottage was perfect! We were surprised to see the items that were there upon arrival for our use and the cleanliness of the entire place. The attention to detail in decor, setup of the cottage and the privacy in our own back yard oasis ( with private pool) was absolute perfection. We contacted the staff once during our stay for assistance. They were very quick to respond and did not disappoint. After our first time using VRBO, I have to say that Lizzie Lu’s has set the bar pretty high! It definitely makes me wish there was a Lizzie Lu’s in every town we ever want to visit. Only then could we assure our home would be well stocked, cleaned and perfect for our week spent away from home.

Beautiful house near the beach
This property was perfect for our family trip. The house and grounds are well maintained, tastefully decorated and furnished and comfortable. The property is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The pool was beautiful. It was a very short walk to the beach and the garage had everything we needed for our beach trips (umbrella, chairs, beach cart, etc.). We would recommend this property to everyone!
