Overall, the room was nice, clean and the furniture was in excellent condition. However, this isn’t the style of a hotel that I prefer. That aside, I was extremely disappointed at how thin the walls and floors were. It sounded like elephants walking above my room. Also, at night there was some kind of ‘popping’ sound near the door, which sounded similar to someone tapping on the door with a keycard (which wasn’t the case). Maybe it was the hotel settling since it’s so new? Also, I was a bit put off when they wouldn’t provide a late checkout, even if I wasn’t Gold or Diamond (or whatever) status. Most other hotel brands agree to a late checkout unless they’re absolutely booked.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with food recommendations. Hotel was very clean and the location was good. Just a short drive to downtown. We happen to miss breakfast but it’s so nice they offer it.

Everything was great, friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast, but a couple things stood out... outside the elevator there is a board that lists favorites, like places to eat, shop, attractions, etc. Being a stranger to the area, that was nice to have. Also, I really liked how quiet the room air conditioner/heater was. It sounded like a relaxing fan, not the noisy on again, off again window units you find in most hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

I detest lights in my eyes at night. And between the bright red one on the pole lamp, the constantly blinking smoke detector, and worse, the motion detecting light in the bathroom, i did not sleep well.
