My brother and I stayed here because his car broke down, 20 minutes east of Winslow. All I can say is: DON’T BREAK DOWN IN WINSLOW. You might be “standing on a corner” for longer than you’d like. Only 1 taxi/shuttle in town (and they only had 1 vehicle). Very limited car rental options, unless you can get to Flagstaff, nearly an hour away.

Reserved two rooms. 1st room stunk like someone cooked in there with very strong spices. I told them. They moved us but charged an $8 cleaning fee. It wasn’t our fault it stunk. 2nd room: phone and tv didn’t work. They came and fixed the tv but not the phone. The next morning my mom finally told me after we left the property, they found cockroaches in the room!! They tried calling (phone didn’t work), they tried looking for the staff…finally they just went to bed. We’ve traveled far and wanted to sleep. I talked to Expedia and when they got a hold of the Motel…they immediately said they needed pictures and that they were not informed at all. When we checked out it was hard to find them! They said they would not refund our stay due to no evidence. Don’t stay here!!!!
