I stayed at Winsuites Sai Gon Hotel for a few nights. The location is convenient as it is easy to get around from. The room was a bit smaller than I was anticipating but the basics were taken care of. However, some aspects could be improved. The room A/C was not working properly so if someone took shower the whole room would stay hot for an hour or so even though the temperature was set at 21 degrees or similar. Upon arrival the staff told us the rooftop pool will be unavailable for 2 out of the 3 days we were there as they booked it out in the last day or so to a private party. This was a bit random considering that was a big reason we chose this property. We brought this up to the staff and they were really nice and accomodating and offered to get us access to a neighbouring pool which we ultimately didn't use as it was quite inconvenient. Also although the location is very convenient, it is located near a busy intersection and the noise from the streets was very loud in the room even though we were on level 9. So be aware if you are hoping for a greats night rest.

Good stay, great location, modern room and clean comfy bed. Downside was no pool access after 3pm due to it being rented privately (not told when booked) Would stay again if full facilities available, discount should have been offered. Also… the late night Pizza was a myth!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable in a wonderful location, within a few minutes walk of the Ben Thanh Market and a ten minute walk from the night walking street. A major standout for this hotel besides location is the quality and variety of breakfast. Wow! The food was always fresh and delicious. We never went hungry. One area of concern that was a bit off putting was the constant smell of sewage in the lobby. Thankfully the rest of the hotel did not face this issue and was very pleasant smelling.

The room was terrible, the hallway smelled of smoke and bad odor. We actually got out of the room and rechecked into Myst Hotel.

Pros: The room was spotless with everything being almost brand new and shiny. The shower is modern. The staff is courteous and attentive. Free minibar each day with 2 beers and soft drink and water. You can walk to Ben Thành market in 3 minutes. Breakfast is above average in terms of varieties. Cons: there are random but loud noises from external sources all day and most of the night. They are constructing a metro station right outside. There are also loud noises internally and I think it came either from the large water boiler or elevator. There is no decaf coffee in any form.

The food was mediocre quality. Mostly the same day to day. The “hot” food wasn’t hot. Only warm. And on my last day even the coffee wasn’t hot. Just warm. But the staff was superb.

Location is very good, near the market, metro and only 10 mins walk from the Independence Palace. Breakfast had a good selection and all the staff were very helpful. There were a few issues with the room. If you book a Deluxe and not a room with a view, your view could be a brick wall only a few inches from the window and with little natural light! I would not have minded if this had been clear on the booking. Also, the way the shower head is designed in the bathroom, it turns the area into a wet-room, even though there is a shower screen.i had a few room issues which although I reported them weren’t fixed- the bath drain was partially blocked, and annoyingly a ‘LED night light’ came on above the bed each night which had no switch- I asked for it to be turned off, but it wasn’t sorted. Overall, it could be and excellent hotel for the level and price, but just missed the mark with the view and room issues.
