I was surprised by how different this stay felt compared to the reviews. The property is more like a short-term rental than a hotel, which wasn’t clear from the listing. Check-in was confusing since you have to wait outside for someone to meet you, and I had to wait a while even though I shared my arrival time. Using the pool also requires texting staff and waiting for them to sign you in, which is inconvenient. The pool itself was crowded, chilly, and had very few lounge chairs, plus no towels available. The TV didn’t work, and the unit didn’t feel very clean—there was hair in the sink when we arrived and the towels were stained. Signs in the lobby also mentioned that short-term rentals are not permitted, which added to an overall uneasy feeling. Overall, the experience felt inconvenient and not very professional. I’d recommend choosing a traditional hotel instead.
